High Duty Alloys Bowling Club was founded in 1946 and founder members laid their own green. Initially, to become a member, men had to be an employee of of the HDA company. Soon, this changed and HDA Bowling Club became a mixed member club, welcoming ladies and gentlemen of all ages.

​

The HDA company was sold to Mettis Aerospace Ltd in 2001 and about 10 years later members felt it was time to change the name of the club to something more in keeping with where we played rather than a local company name.

​

Therefore in 2011 Redditch Bowling Club was born and we continue to be part of the sports facilities offered on the extensive grounds now run by Redditch Borough Football and Community Sports and Social Club.

The Club's most senior member to date is Jim Gibbons who has had many Club and County competition successes.

Redditch Bowling Club welcomes new members of all ages and abilities.
