Redditch Bowling Club
Highlights this season 2024
This year, our membership has grown substantially and we have had a very successful season which includes promotion to Division One of the Redditch Triples League. The green has been in brilliant condition, thanks to the hard work of our greenkeepers, and improvements are underway in the pavilion. We are very much looking forward to continuing this progress next season.
Ladies Day 7th Sept
Finals Weekend
The weather was kind throughout Finals Weekend 31st August and 1st September as the finals of the Club competitions were played. There were some very close matches played and congratulations to all winners and runners up. Thanks must go to everyone involved in the organisation of the weekend. See more photos on the gallery pages.

We finished top of the Division 2 League - a fantastic achievement for our small club.
This means we have been promoted to Division 1!
Congratulations to all members who played in these League games. It was a great effort on everyone's part.
Now we can look forward to playing in Division 1 next season.
National Two Rink competition
Dates for the diary
SATURDAY 12TH OCTOBER from 9 am
Your help is needed for the annual groundwork to put the green in order before the winter - the more of us, the merrier!

FRIDAY 25TH OCTOBER
The AGM will be held at 7 pm in the pavilion
Trophies for the 2024 season will be presented during the evening.
A very successful Ladies Day took place on 7th September. Nine members took part during the afternoon. At the end of a close-run competition, the result was a draw between two players, so a 'bowl-off' was arranged to decide the winner - a tense final end! Everyone then retired to the pavilion to enjoy a delicious afternoon tea.
Well done to everyone who took part in the day, congratulations to the winner, and many thanks to everyone involved in organising and running the event.
Interberga League
Not such a successful finish in the Interberga League this season perhaps, but well done to everyone who played in this League and gave their best each week.
A Redditch team entered the end of season tournament at Inkberrow and were a credit to the club and themselves.
They played 3 matches, won two and drew one, finishing second overall out of ten teams.
Well done to the team - brilliant bowling!
On Sunday 12th May, Redditch Bowling Club played in the Men's National Two Rink competition.
Against tough opposition, Redditch won one rink but lost on overall points.
Well done to all the bowlers who took part - this is a challenging competition for our small club.
A visit from the BBC News team!
On Friday 3rd May, a team from BBC News visited the Club and interviewed members about their views on the latest local election results. Despite the rain, members were filmed enjoying a game of bowls whilst being interviewed. Several of our members then appeared on the 6 o'clock News item about Redditch.
